Reflections

If you've ever struggled to feel confident in submitting your resume, answering an interview question, or delivering a public speech - you were Allison Grainger's inspiration for founding SpeakEasy Training LLC. Allison noticed young people could use an outlet for assistance in telling their stories. Since establishment, SpeakEasy has empowered clients and audiences across a variety of platforms to share their experiences in powerful ways. The reach of SpeakEasy Training has grown into several sectors. We have reviewed and refined numerous cover letters and resumes. Many of these clients have also participated in our interview training sessions to land positions with non-profits, secondary education, small businesses and corporations. FFA chapters and 4-H clubs have called on SpeakEasy to provide leadership development and team building trainings. The young leaders who participated are sure to leave a lasting impact on their community and organization. We have been delighted to see them learn and grow. We have presented keynote addresses to a diverse array of agricultural organizations to inspire active membership. In addition, we've enjoyed opportunities to share inspirational stories, career options and professional development with non-traditional students. Beyond our core services, Allison emceed Ranch House Design's conference, The Gathering, in Spring 2016. She also wrote curriculum for Texas FFA to help Area Officers understand and develop their skills in facilitation. All interview and public speaking preparations require reflection on your experiences. As we reflect on the services we have provided since our establishment, we are excited to see our clients continue to grow and succeed.
